About the department

The Department of Tamil was established in the year 2020 with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Tamil. Along with academic teaching, steps are taken to tap the talent of student’s talent through elocution; poem writing, essay writing, and other literary competitions conducted every year. Students are motivated to participate in Tamil-related programs in the mass media. The department cultivates all the virtues such as patience, temperance, tolerance, compassion, love, discipline, and creativity.

Association Activities

“Ayinthinai Painthamizh Mandram” was conducted with various competitions such as Poster Presentations, Poetry telling, and Answering Riddles. The students from Tamil department participate in these competitions.
